An even more premium take on Hito-Aji, if such as thing is possible. Hito-Aji Gold is the pinnacle of Japonica rice, the broad family of medium and short grain rice. We work with select growers and subject Hito-Aji gold to the highest standards of grading and milling.
Fine rice, like caviar, is best enjoyed with simple and straightforward preparation. Heavily flavored sauces only cover up the pure flavor and aroma of Hito-Aji Gold. In fact, a cup of gloriously sticky Hito-Aji Gold rice, a small bowl and a pair of chopsticks may be the best Hito-Aji Gold recipe of all.

Rice Cooker
1. Place 2 cups of rice into rice cooker.
2. Add water to 2 cup line on rice cooker.
3. Stir rice, close lid and start cooker.
4. When cooking ends, let stand covered for 5 minutes.
5. Fluff with fork and serve.
Rice to water ratios vary by rice cooker; follow manufacturer's instructions.
Stove Top
1. Place 2 cups of rice in a saucepan.
2. Add 2 3/4 cups of water, bring to a boil and stir.
3. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 25 minutes, or until moisture is absorbed.
4. Remove from heat and let stand covered for 5 minutes.
5. Fluff with fork and serve.
Cooking Time
Cook 12 minutes for firm rice. Cook 15 minutes for soft rice.
