Cooking with a Rice Cooker
1. Place 2 cups of rice into rice cooker.
2. Add water to 3 cup line on rice cooker (brown rice measurements may vary by rice cooker).
3. Stir rice, close lid and start cooker.
4. When cooking ends, let stand covered for 5 minutes.
5. Fluff with fork and serve.
Substitute chicken broth for water to enhance the flavor of brown rice.

How to Cook Rice in a Pot
1. Place 1 cup of rice in a saucepan.
2. Add 1 3/4 cups of water, bring to a boil and stir.
3. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 50 minutes, or until moisture is absorbed.
4. Remove from heat and let stand covered for 5 minutes.
5. Fluff with fork and serve.
Cooking Time
Cook 40 minutes for firm rice. Cook 45 minutes for soft rice.
