The contrasting white and dark grains of HINODE White & Wild give this blend an appetizing appearance. The wild rice adds a rich, nutty flavor and extra protein. Use White & Wild in soups or as a side dish for all kinds of meats. It makes a great stuffing ingredient for turkey, chicken or wild fowl.

Wild rice isn’t rice. It’s a grain – the seed of a water grass. It’s the only grain native to North America. Wild rice served as a staple food for Sioux and Chippewa Indians. Wild rice is high in protein. It’s also a natural source of nutrients such as copper, fiber, foliate, magnesium, niacin, phosphorus, vitamin B6 and zinc.
